MEI Shipping & Export
Shipping

Insured movement, agreed before payment.

Export

Japanese swords are not ordinary parcels. The destination, carrier, declared value, paperwork, and timing are discussed before a blade is released from the catalogue.

Destination check

Import rules differ by country. Destination is checked before any hold or invoice.

Packing

Blade, koshirae, papers, and accessories are packed separately inside one insured shipment where permitted.

Insurance

Insurance is quoted before payment. Buyer chooses whether declared value matches full purchase value.

Timing

Export preparation and carrier availability can add days or weeks. Speed is not promised where paperwork is slow.

Paperwork

Invoice, certificate copy, and any available translation are included with the shipment records.

Restrictions

If shipment to a destination cannot be done properly, the sale is declined before payment.
